As this 2011 to 2012 school year comes to an end, we are not just saying good bye to our seniors, we will also be saying goodbye to Judy Seacord. Mrs. Secord has been working as a secretary for Peekskill High School for the past 10 years and 1 month (to be exact). Before Mrs. Seacord worked for Peekskill High School, she worked at the Westchester County Parks Department.

Mrs. Seacord explains that she is sad, but is happy as well, to be leaving PHS. She is happy because she is starting a new phase in her life and will be able to spend more time with her grandchildren and her husband. Mrs. Seacord told us in her interview that she is sad because she is leaving the kids of PHS behind.  As of right now, Mrs. Seacord has no set plans for after she retires.

As all the students who listen to the school announcements  know; whether it is the morning, afternoon, or inbetween announcements, Mrs. Seacord can always be heard laughing! As we end the school year, PHS students are still confused, as to why this is the case. Mrs. Seacord would like us all to know that there is simply, always something funny said in the office just before she starts the  announcements.

Mrs. Seacord, from all of us here at PHS, we wish happy trails to you and thank you for your dedication and hard work over the past 10 years and 1 month.
