Westchester-based charity Friends of Karen is gearing up for another busy holiday season.
The organization works to support critically-ill children and their families. This time of year, the effort involves providing gifts to the kids.
"Holiday Adopt-A-Family Gifts for Children program prepares presents for each Friends of Karen sick child as well as his or her ‘well’ siblings," according to a blog post by the organization. "The program is a perfect opportunity to spread the holiday spirit."
