Region's Episcopalians Witness Consecration of New Bishop
Parishes from all over the lower Hudson Valley participated in the ceremony at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.
They came from Pearl River, Brewster, Eastchester, Ossining and elsewhere across the Episcopal Diocese of New York for the ordination and consecration of Andrew M. L. Dietsche as Bishop Coadjutor.
Bishop Dietsche will become the head of the diocese when Bishop Mark Sisk retires in 2014.
Leading the ceremony was the Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church.
