Happy St. Patrick’s Day (one day early)! Saturday, March 17 is the holiday when Irish honor the Catholic Saint Patrick.  Whether you like to celebrate with a good Irish soda bread or Guiness, or by attending mass,and tell us where is the best place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The poll closes at 9 a.m. and the winner will be announced at noon today.

4. Rainy Friday, but Sun through the Weekend

The National Weather Service forecasts showers and possibly a thunderstorm today after 1 p.m. It should clear up after 7 p.m. and then Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be sunny with highs near 64 and 68 respectively.

5. Peekskill Community Garden Work Party and Plot Sign Up

The PCG is holding a work site party and plot site sign up this Saturday, March 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal of this day is to put down cardboard and chips to block weeds. Read more on the PCG Patch blog here.
