Kathleen Marks was an amazing and inspiring woman; she was
selfless and kind, smart and fun. Spending most of her life selflessly caring
for others, her family, friends, and her community at the church where she
volunteered her time many years in countless projects. She lost her four year
fight with cervical cancer in October of 2001.

 The foundation was
created in her memory, established just one year ago in July of 2011, by Kathleen’s
eldest daughters Crystal Schwer, President & Isis Kline, Vice president.
The first Annual Halloween Masquerade ball is a very important event for the
foundation, not only is it the debut event, first of many to come but Halloween
was Kathleen’s Favorite holiday, and October is the 11th anniversary
of her passing. This event is the perfect way to pay tribute to an exceptional
woman who was taken too soon.

The Formal Masquerade Ball will take place at The Mansion at
Colonial Terrace, 119 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor NY, on the evening of
October 26th 2012; the event will start at 7pm and continue until
midnight. Dinner, dancing, an aerial show, and silent auction are just a few of
the items in the evenings agenda. Promising an unforgettable experience with
lots of excitement and surprises, 100% of the proceeds from the event will
benefit The Division of Pediatric Oncology at the
Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, research of Acute
Myeloid leukemia.

Tickets will be available online through the
foundation website www.KFMFoundation.Org
starting July 15th 2012. To purchase Tickets in person, they will be
available at all of the community events the foundation has scheduled on their
event calendar (available on the website) through October 18th 2012,
