Abuse Prevention Center is offering a 12-hour



Volunteer training, taught by the
Center's professional staff

child and family development, effective discipline, 

parenting skills, relationship building, and stress relief and

This September our 12-hour
training session will be



held Two
Daytime Fridays,



September 13 and 20, both from 8:45AM-3PM 



A one-hour orientation session, scheduled at your



convenience, is a prelude to
participating in training
.
 



At this meeting you can find out more about our Center and



our many volunteer opportunities.  It will give you a
chance



to have your questions answered.  Orientations are
scheduled



now.   (If you need an evening or Saturday
training, please call.  



We would like to schedule one for October or November.)



As a Volunteer you can expect
quality training and guidance,



work experience, personal growth and reward, opportunities



for new friendships and the feeling of being needed and 

appreciated. 



We will be happy
to answer any questions you may have.  

Both orientation and training take place at our offices at



7 HollandAvenue in White Plains.  To set up an
orientation



time, or to RSVP to the training if you have
