The Van Cortlandtville Historical Society is hosting an Open House free to the public on Sunday, June 1st, from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Little Red Schoolhouse, 297 Locust Avenue, Cortlandt Manor. Visitors will be welcomed by members of the Society who will explain some of the activities of the organization and conduct a tour of the historic 19th-century one-room schoolhouse, which is located at the north end of Locust Avenue next to Old Saint Peter's Church and Cemetery, just south south of Oregon Road in the Town Of Cortlandt.
