David Mamet's The Water Engine

The Water Engine

M&M Productions Acting
Company, Inc. will stage The Water Engine, by David Mamet, to be
directed by M&M veteran, Floyd Gumble, who gave us a wonderful production
of Proof several years ago. The Water Engine is a great
drama within a radio play format.

As the audience watches a radio play set in the 1930s, the "play within
the play" reveals the story of an inventor who's found a way to run an
engine on distilled water. At first ridiculed, he is courted by crooked lawyers
attempting to buy the invention from him on behalf of 'certain business
interests.' Murder and intrigue follow as the story unfolds.

The play will run about 70 minutes without an intermission.  Featuring Bruce
Apar, Lorraine Federico, Flody Gumble,Theodora Kimmel, Kenn Sapeta, Gregg
Shults & Steve Zarro. The rehearsal picture below was taken by Melinda
O’Brien and is of (left to right) Kenn Sapeta, Steve Zarro, Lorraine Federico,
Gregg Shults, Floyd Gumble and Bruce Apar. For complete schedules and library
