Radar indicates a line of severe storms moving west to east that will impact the area over the next 1 to 2 hours. A few strong to severe storms are possible...capable of strong to damaging wind gusts in excess of 50 mph. The main threat with any convection will be torrential downpours...with potential for flash flooding in the path of any cells.
Residents are urged to secure loose items in their yards, stow umbrellas, and ensure drains and downspouts are clear of debris. Remember if you can hear thunder you are close enough to be struck by associated lightning. Be mindful of weather conditions and take shelter in a sturdy structure is the weather conditions warrant such action.
