Self Check at Field Library, BID Meeting, Juneteenth Fundraiser

Five things you need to know today, Feb. 23.

1. Try Self-Check at the Peekskill Field Library

The library is testing out a self-check machine for 90 days. It is located in the adult library near the new book area. Stop by and check it, and a book or two, out!

2. Gospel Concert Explosion

The Juneteenth Heritage Committee has announced its Gospel Concert Explosion will take place at Peekskill Middle School on March 1 at 7 p.m.  It is the first fundraiser for the second annual Juneteenth Heritage parade and celebration to be held June 16.

3. BID Meeting

The Peekskill Business Improvement District will hold its annual membership meeting and election tonight at the Elks Lodge from 6 to 9 p.m. More here.

4. St. Patrick’s Day Parade Set for March 10

At a Tuesday work session, the City Council said they will approve a parade permit for the St. Patrick’s Parade set for March 10.

5. Thanks Patch Visitors
