Along a paved path that stretches 22.1 miles from Baldwin Place in Somers to Eastview in the Town of Mount Pleasant, The North County Trailway draws people who like to bicycle, jog or just walk and enjoy the outdoors. The trail is maintained by the Westchester County Parks Department following the route of the former Putnam Railroad. It connects with the Putnam County Trailway at the county line, and the South County Trailway to the south spanning a total of 36.2 miles. The trail is available for use from dawn till dusk.
