Police Crack Down on Route 9 Speeding; Back to School

Five things you need to know today, Sept. 4.

1. Troopers from SP Cortlandt Concentrate Speeding Enforcement on State Route 9

From the New York State Police: State Troopers from the State Police Barracks in Cortlandt conducted a speed enforcement detail on Sept. 3 on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt. During this detail, 50 tickets were issued for violations such as speeding, unlicensed operation, and not wearing a seat belt. These details will continue in an effort to ensure the roadways are safe for the motoring public.

 2. Back to School
