3.) Chamber to Start New Year with Networking Breakfast

The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first networking breakfast of the new year on Jan. 3 at the Harbor at Charles Point , located 5 John Walsh Blvd, Peekskill. Members from the Microsoft team will be on hand to demonstrate the Surface tablet; new Windows 8 software and phones; and answer questions about Windows Office 365. The event costs $15 with a paid reservation, $17 at the door and $20 for non-members. Click here to reserve a seat. 

4.) Brewery Ommegang Tap Takeover Tasting!

Brewery Ommegang, Cooperstown's brewer of Belgian style ales, will be at the Green Growler Craft Beer Grocery, located at 368 S. Riverside Ave. in Croton-on-Hudson, today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will have the following beers on tap for customers to try before they buy: Belgian Pale Ale, Abbey Ale, Rare Vos, Gnomegang, Belgian Independence Day Tripel and Art of Darkness.

5.) Polar Plunge at Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill

Join The Quiet Man Public House & the This Is Me Foundation for their first annual Polar Plunge on New Years Day. Participants will be taking sponsorships  to 'Plunge' into the Hudson on New Years Day with all proceeds going to scholarships for local students.  Interested in participating?
