1.) Second Public Session Scheduled for Bear Mountain Parkway Safety Improvements

The second public session scheduled by state Department of Transportation centered on the safety improvements planned for the Bear Mountain Parkway is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Cortlandt Town Hall, located at 1 Heady St.

2.) Peekskill City School District 2013-2014 Budget Forum

A community forum on the Peekskill City School District 2013-2014 budget will be held on Saturday, March 9, in the cafeteria at Peekskill Middle School, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PCSD Principals and Central Office Administrators will be present at the meeting. Community members are encouraged to attend.

3.) Hen Hud Library Hosts Screening of “Liberal Arts"

The Hendrick Hudson Library, located on 185 Kings Ferry Rd. in Montrose, is hosting a viewing of the movie “Liberal Arts” today at 1:30 p.m. as part of its weekday matinee series. The event is free.

4.) Free Blood Pressure Screening at Hudson Valley Hospital Center
At 2 p.m. the Hudson Valley Hospital Center offers free blood pressure screenings. Details here.

5.) Once Upon A Time Preschool Open House/Read Across America Celebration

On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Once Upon Time Preschool, located at 47 Peekskill Hollow Rd. in Putnam Valley, will host an open house.
