Suburbia Roller Derby Returns With Sellout Crowd

Westchester-based Suburban Brawl takes on the Hellions of Troy.

The sellout crowd at the Yonkers PAL building was rocking as Suburbia Roller Derby's opening night pitted the Westchester-based Suburban Brawl against the Hellions of Troy on Saturday.

Sporting names including Vixen Von Bruizen, Domestic Violet and Lesley E. Visserate, the Brawl took it to the Hellions early, scoring quickly and often as their Jammers made it through Troy's defensive line time after time.

The trademark cow bells were ringing in the crowd, which numbered in the hundreds, encouraged by the humorous rantings of commentators "Sam and Stu" throughout the match.
