Hen Hud Budget Meeting, Democratic Primary Forum, Jopling Sells Out Winery

1. Hendrick Hudson School District Budget Meeting

2.  The District 19 Congressional Democratic Primary Forum

The Peekskill Democratic City Committee is hosting a forum at 7 p.m. in the Senior Citizen Nutrition Center in the Peekskill Field Library building on Jan. 26. The forum will feature Mayor Tom Wilson of Tuxedo Park, Town of Cortlandt Councilman, Richard Becker and Wappingers Falls Mayor, Matt Alexander, the three candidates in the running for the seat representing the 19th Congressional District, currently held by Republican Nan Hayworth. Each candidate will have the opportunity to introduce himself to the audience and answer a few questions.

2. Jopling Sells out Winery

Daisy Jopling will be performing to a sold out crowd at the Winery at St. George in Mohegan Lake tonight. Enjoy the show if you snagged tickets before they sold out!

3. National Irish Coffee Day

The will be spiking their coffee today in honor of National Irish Coffee Day. The warm and spirited drink will be only $1.

5. Winning Winter Whiskers

February kicks off beard season for Hudson Valley Hospital Center with the first Winning Winter Whiskers fundraising campaign. The challenge to men: Grow your beard out during the month of February and raise money for the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. Participant information packets can be downloaded at www.hvhc.org, and applications must be submitted by February 1st.
