The Big Dig [PHOTOS]

Residents grab their shovels following Friday's winter storm.

Residents woke this morning to see more than a foot of snow outside following winter storm Nemo, which blew through the Hudson Valley region last night.  Depending on where you live, anywhere from one to two feet of snow covered the ground and residents grabbed their shovels and began to dig.

The snow delighted children who took to the closest hill to ride their sleds, tubes and toboggans. Snow plow drivers and ski areas welcomed the large snowfall which turned white into green for them.
