Buchanan Easter Egg Hunt Goes On Despite Rain

Venue changes but wet weather can't dampen children's spirits.

Despite the misty rain, the Village of Buchanan held it's annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning and dozens of children and their parents enjoyed the event. The Easter tradition was moved from Village Hall to the covered Veterans Memorial Pavilion a few blocks away.

The Easter Bunny made an appearance and posed for pictures with children who then proceeded to pick up over 3,000 plastic eggs with tasty treats inside.  Several lucky hunters found special eggs and were awarded large candy baskets as prizes. All children also received an inflatable bunny as they left.
