Reward Offered for Information on Motel Robbery

A $500 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrests of two suspects in the Jan. 8 armed robbery at the Inn on the Hudson in Peekskill.

Peekskill police are still searching for clues in their investigation of an armed robbery that took place at the at the Inn on the Hudson, located on Main Street, earlier this month.

The robbery took place at about 11:15 p.m, when two men entered the lobby and demanded money. One of the men displayed a handgun and threatened the clerk, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

“We’re working closely with state and Westchester County police and reviewing leads at this time,” said Peekskill police Sgt. Raymond Henderlong.

Henderlong declined to say whether or not police believe there is a link between this robbery and another armed robbery that took place at a BP Mart in the Town of Cortlandt on Dec. 28. State police arrested one of the suspects in the BP Mart robbery on Monday.

The Inn on the Hudson is offering a $500 reward leading to the capture and conviction of the individuals responsible for the robbery.  One suspect is described as a black male; about 5 feet, 6 inches tall; and weighing about 160 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black male; about 5 feet, 9 inches tall; and weighing about 200 pounds.
