A Hunger Benefit, Lions Dance and Coat Drive

Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill is holding its annual gala benefit 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. today at the Hollow Brook Golf Club, located at 1060 Oregon Rd. in  Cortlandt Manor. The evening will feature gourmet food and wine Stations; a silent Auction and raffle including a basketball autographed by Elton Brand; and entertainment by rock-classical violinist Daisy Jopling. 3.) Hen Hud Lions to Host Dinner Dance Raffle Saturday

The Hendrick Hudson Lions Club is hosting a Dinner Dance Raffle at the at the Mt Carmel Banquet Hall located on 8th Street in Verplanck.  Proceeds from the event will fund the Hendrick Hudson Lions Club Community Fund.  Raffle tickets cost $25. For $50, attendees get two raffle tickets and a complimentary dinner dance admission and for $75, they get three raffle tickets and two complimentary dinner dance admissions. 4.) Con Edison Claims

Con Edison customers can file food spoilage, temporary housing and other storm damage compensation claims at http://www.coned.com/customercentral/lawclaims. Each submission is being handled on a case-by-case basis.  Customers will not be billed by Con Edison for the duration of the service outage because billing is based on usage.

5.) First Hebrew Coat Drives Starts Nov. 26

The Action Committee of the First Hebrew Congregation, located on 1821 Main St. in Peekskill, will be accepting donations of new or gently used items for adults and children beginning Monday, Nov. 26, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Please call (914)739-0500 to confirm daily drop-off schedule.
