Free Samples to be Distributed at Next Meeting of Gluten-Free-Food Discussion Group in Tarrytown

Free take-home samples of gluten-free-food products will be given to attendees at the Monday, April 7, 2014 meeting of a newly formed gluten-free-food discussion group. The meeting will be held at Mrs. Green's in Tarrytown.

Topics to be covered include getting to know gluten-free products in the marketplace, recipes, and eating out at restaurants, said Amanda Devens, a nutritionist at Mrs. Green's in Tarrytown. She is also developing a guest-speaker schedule for subsequent meetings.

A starting time for the April 7 meeting has not as yet been set. Devens asks prospective attendees to send an email to her at adevens@mrsgreens.com with the starting time or times they would prefer (can be daytime or evening). The meetings are expected to last about two hours. The group's first meeting was held on March 3, 2014.

The April 7 meeting will be held in the community room on the lower level at Mrs. Green's, 45 N. Broadway in Tarrytown. There is a backdoor entrance to the lower level from the parking lot directly in back of the store.
