Sailors Cheerleaders raise over $1,000 for a great cause!

Sailors Cheerleader teach younger kids a cheer which they can perform at the Stay Awake a Thon ~ and they raised $1000 doing it!

The Hendrick Hudson Cheerleaders held a cheer clinic on Saturday, 4/21 for kids in grades k-8 to teach them some cheers, a dance, and some stunts!

Over 45 kids showed up and they had a Blast! The participants learned several cheers, did some stunting, and they also learned one cheer which they will perform on Saturday May 5th at the Stay Awake a Thon for the community!

The money raised is for the Stay Awake a Thon, and all proceeds go to the Hudson Valley Hospital Cancer Center, and Happiness is Camping.

Many of the kids had been to the clinics before, as evident in their matching t-shirts! They really enjoy it, and love putting on a show for their parents at the end!

Please join us on Saturday May 5th for the opening ceremonies at 7pm in the Hendrick Hudson High School Gymansium.
