Heeling Autism Dog Parade comes to Buchanan Sunday October 7th at 10am

Join us on Oct. 7th at 10 a.m. at Buchanan Pavilion for the Hen Hud Leos 1st Annual Dog Walk Parade. The entry fee is $10 per dog and all proceeds go to the Heeling Autism program at Guiding Eyes.

Dogs may be a man's best friend, but they can also save the life of a child with Autism.

Please grab a leash and your furry friend and come to the Buchanan pavilion on Sunday, Oct. 7th at 10 a.m. to hear about the Heeling Autism program at Guiding Eyes for the Blind and participate in a dog walk parade through the streets of Buchanan.

Donation is $10 a dog and all proceeds will go to the Heeling Autism program at Guiding Eyes which trains dogs to become a service animal for a child with Autism.

Our dog parade, which you can be a part of will begin at 10am at the Buchanan Pavilion, will proceed up Westchester Ave to Bark Avenue Grooming where they will get a dog biscuit, then march down tate ave to 1st street, and end back at the Pavilion.

There will be items to be raffled for your pet, and you will hear from one family about how a dog changed the life of their autistic child and their family.

If you are unable to make it, but would like to send a tax deductible donation, please send a check to Hen Hud Leos, po Box 660, Verplanck, ny 10596. Please mark the memo line with Heeling Autism.

Thank you!

Yale has changed the lives of the entire family. She has given them more security when they are out doing "normal" family activities, like food shopping, going to dinner and even going for a neighborhood walk. Thank you Heeling Autism for this amazing program and the opportunities it gives to families with Autistic children.
