Foster Missing at Store Closing

Ashton's Florist, mainstay downtown business for almost 30 years, sadly, closed yesterday. Now, I missed Mary Foster at the 'closing' services. In fact, I missed the press release.  Do they know its a day overdue or does such a release muddy up their "everything is solid in Peekskill, Solid as a Rock" campaign? Now the landlord is doing everything he can to find another tenant but don't worry, Foster & Co. will be there to take the credit for bringing the new tenant into Peekskill!  What a sad excuse for leadership and such a dishonest underhanded mayor. No accomplishments in 6 years except 16 million in deficit spending. 10 days till the Great Housecleaning in City Hall. I can't wait!!
