'Sopranos' Star Films TV Show Scene at Maria's Pizza in Yorktown

The crew filmed for 14 hours on Saturday and is expected to come back to town in mid August.

Vincent Pastore, an actor best known for his role in The Sopranos, was shooting a scene for a TV show at in Yorktown on Saturday.

He was accompanied by crew members and other actors who were shooting a "fantasy scene" with a car right outside the pizzeria, business owner Vito Picone told Patch.

He said the crew was filming for about 14 hours on Saturday. Picone said this is not the first time the crew has been at his pizza place as he first met them about six years ago. Production for the show began six months ago after a bit of a hiatus and crew members are expected to come back to town in mid August, he said.

The scene generated a lot of interest from Yorktowners as people were calling Picone to ask him why there were so many people outside the business. Others in town also talked about the crew and wondered what was going on.

One woman who recognized the actor said she he looked "dapper and handsome and much younger looking than his age."
