[Update]Lights, Cameras, Action! Crews for HBO Series 'Girls' in Downtown Peekskill

Filming for the series has taken place in the area recently

UPDATE, 6:45 p.m.: Crews finished filming on Main Street earlier this evening and are now scheduled to start filming at the Inn on the Hudson and The WaterStone Grille.

Sgt. Raymond Henderlong of the Peekskill police department said today's filming on Main Street went smoothly and no incidents were reported.

"Everything was OK," Henderlong said. "They had to work around the rain, which was unfortunate, but there weren't any incidents. There might have been a slight traffic delay, but it was nothing major."
