The Academy announced the nominees a bit earlier than usual this year–prior to Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.

The 84th Annual Academy Awards Show will air on February 24 with actor, writer, singer and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane hosting.

I was soooo happy that Searching for Sugar Man was nominated for Best Documentary. I loved that movie - it was one of the best movies I've ever seen.
