Who's Buried Where? Plotting Rich History of Old Cemeteries in Cortlandt & Westchester

With the intriguing title of “Who’s  Buried  Where?  Plotting the Rich History of Old Cemeteries in Cortlandt and Westchester,”  Patrick Raftery, librarian for the Westchester County Historical Society, will relate and reveal some of the stories from his three-volume book---The Cemeteries of Westchester County.  The books,  which include a volume on cemetery sites in the northern part of the county, will be available for sale and signing by Mr. Raftery.  In addition to being a comprehensive work that details the histories of Westchester ‘s cemeteries, his books tell many interesting stories about the people buried there and the rich history of the families who settled and  lived in the county over many generations.  Free to public at The Little Red Schoolhouse on Locust Ave., Cortlandt.
