Here is the burning question:  “Does the poet continue writing when the
building is burning?”

Do we continue to craft objects and words when:  the earth is warming?  the poor are suffering?  the children aren’t learning? the cooling pools
are leaking? the wars are raging?

The First Monday Salon in April will be a “real” salon.  We will gather to talk about these questions
and the role of the artist in the Twenty-first Century.  To start us off, Ilse Schreiber-Noll will
give a short presentation about her compelling work which will be on the walls
of the BRC Gallery. Then, the discussion will be open to any/all thoughts and
ideas relating to “taking pART.”

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
