Strawberry Festival June 11th, 1 to 4 p.m.

At The Little Red Schoolhouse to Benefit Van Cortlandtville Historical Society

A Strawberry Festival sponsored by The Van Cortlandtville Historical Society will be held on Saturday, June 11th, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Little Red Schoolhouse, 297 Locust Avenue, Cortlandt Manor, New York. Funds raised will benefit the many activities of the Society.

Arlene Goodenough of Peekskill, who is secretary of the Society, announced that sale items will include Strawberry Shortcake made with fresh berries from the Hudson Valley. Fresh whole berries will also be sold. Hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks will also be available. There will be face painting, children’s games and picture taking in the charming 1800’s school room.
