Folk Music with Rick Nestler

A Coast Guard licensed Master, an actor, a singer and a songwriter, Rick truly brings songs to life. He has appeared at coffeehouses, folk festivals, house concerts and museums across the USA. He has performed in low waterfront dives and institutions of higher learning from St. Thomas to Toronto, California to New York and everywhere in between.

Rick has several albums to his credit. His all original CD called, "Spending My Days" includes the song, "The River That Flows Both Ways", which has been recorded by Pete Seeger, Rich Bala, and Betty & the Baby Boomers, while another tune,"Bar Song" was recorded by an old friend, Ray Chesna. His CD, "The Irish in Me", is a collection of his favorite 'songs from the old sod'. His latest recording, "Dockside", is comprised of maritime music both traditional and contemporary, including a good number of his own compositions.
