Essential Nourishment with Marika Blossfeldt

     On Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 7pm, Beacon resident Marika Blossfeldt will present a lecture based on her recent book, Essential Nourishment: Recipes from My Estonian Farm, a Gourmand World Cookbook Awards nominee for 2011.  Signed copies of the book will be available for $30.00. 

     Drawing from her vast knowledge of natural foods and her experience in conducting private and group health coaching programs as well as wellness retreats, Marika has put together a beautiful and very useful book, weaving together food, art and the joy of living a healthy and fulfilling life.  Visually stunning and potentially life-changing, Essential Nourishment is a cookbook and nutrition guide in one, fusing an appreciation for the sensual pleasures of natural foods with a sensible approach to nourishment. 

     Marika Blossfeldt divides her time between Beacon, NY and Estonia, where she spends her summers conducting yoga, wellness and cooking retreats.
