What Do You Think of the Hudson Avenue Stop Signs?

At least a couple of local folks feel the stop signs on Hudson Avenue are unsafe.

Doreen M. Doyle posted a note on Patch detailing her gripe:

"Stop sign at bottom of Hudson Ave, just after entrance to Rt 9 is a TRAFFIC HAZARD! I am a daily commuter and park across the railroad tracks. When attempting to exit the parking lot, there have been too many times to mention that traffic is backed up OVER the tracks because of this UNNECESSARY stop sign. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!"

Another Patch user agreed, calling for "the dangerous stop signs" on Hudson Avenue to be removed in both directions. But the stop signs on South Street and the exit ramps from Route 9 should remain, the comment reads.
