The people behind Peekskill-Cortlandt Patch invite our readers to our first-ever “Office Hours” on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the

Join me, editor Liz Giegerich, and account manager Gina DeBonis for a coffee on us and to discuss what you’d like to see on Patch and how you’d like to use the site.

We will be there to answer questions about , pc or creating a free listing. We will also be there to learn from you. Tell us how we are doing and what we could be doing to make Peekskill-Cortlandt Patch better. Or, just come by for free coffee and to say hello!

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

This is for Kevin- You are really missing out on a big local audience, namely, Putnam Valley. We…Read More are like the forgotten stepchild even though we are part of the same community as Cortlandt and Peekskill. You guys really need to start giving us some coverage, and if you need a reporter, I will send in my resume. Better yet, you can read all my many comments in the PCP. There's a lot going on here that nobody writes about that would be interesting to many readers.

It seems Patch moves editors every year. Liz was here when I signed up. Then she was shortly moved…Read More to Rye and Rasheed took over. He must have been here about a year and then he left when the new format was introduced. Both times patch started cooking and then it got cut down just as new staff got their mojo going. A new editor with a new format seems like starting from scratch again. I know AOL/Patch needs to get some cash flow going quick (from what I've read) but I can't see what they are trying to do exactly by tipping the cart over and over
