Columbian Hose Company No. 1, of the Peekskill Fire Department, to host Claire's Consignments Seasonal Children's Sale

Peekskill, NY, March 23rd-25th   Claire's Consignments Spring & Summer Sale
will take place in the Columbian Hose Firehouse.  This type of sale is designed to give
families of the Northern Westchester County area a forum for selling their
children’s gently used clothing, furniture, equipment, toys, sports & dance
apparel as well as maternity clothing and other items of interest.  Consignors register on Claire’s website, prepare
their items and make an appointment to drop off their items prior to the sale,
Claire and her team do the rest.  This
sale is a great way for families to make room in their closets, not load up the
landfills and earn some money along the way.

In today’s shaky economy families
are looking for ways to save.  Claire’s
Consignments Seasonal Children’s sale event allows local families the
opportunity to buy quality children’s products at a fraction of the retail cost
as well as earn some extra cash.  Consignors
earn between 65 and 80 percent of their items sold from the sale.  Consignors also can choose to pick up any
unsold items or choose for Claire’s Consignments to donate them to local
charities on their behalf.

Friday, March 23rdis a special preview
sale day that is only open to consignors, volunteers, expecting and new moms
and local moms’ groups from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 
Saturday, March 24th is open to the public from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday,
March 25th is half off day; anything marked with a red star will be sold at 50%
off from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm!  The sale is
quality controlled meaning that all items are checked to ensure merchandise is
in excellent condition. 

Columbian Hose Firehouse is
located in the rear of the Beach Shopping Center, off Dayton Lane, with
entrances from both Routes 6 and 202.  For information and/or
