Enjoy the Snow: Share Cancellations, Photos

It's time to break out the sleds. Hendrick Hudson, Lakeland and Peekskill schools are closed Tuesday (Dec. 17) due to the inclement weather.

The Hendrick Hudson Free Library in Montrose is open, and the Field Library in Peekskill will open at 1 p.m.

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser—complete with Santa—for the family of James Ferrari, a Montrose resident who died in the Dec. 1 train derailment, was scheduled for tonight. It's been pushed back to Wednesday (Dec. 18).

The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for total daytime accumulation between two and four inches. Temperatures will hit at a high of 26-degrees during the day, and a low of 18-degrees at night.

This is the third snow day in two weeks for Lakeland and Hendrick Hudson schools. Click here to see how many the districts allot.
