Walter Panas High School Senior, Alyssa Repetto, makes a difference

Walter Panas High School Senior, Alyssa Repetto, helped spread awareness for Guiding Eyes for the Blind at the 19th Annual Support Connection Support-A- Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Alyssa set up a table at the finish line with her Guiding Eyes for the Blind Dog in Training, Fiesta, whom she has been training since last November, 2012.  As the walkers crossed the finish line, Alyssa and Fiesta greeted and congratulated all the walkers and handed out stickers and bookmarks to children and adults.  Alyssa has been reaching out to many community groups to help spread awareness about her work as a puppy raiser at Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  Raising Fiesta is a unique accomplishment which will provide a generous life changing gift for a blind or visually impaired person giving them dignity, freedom, and greater independence.  Guiding Eyes Dogs can also become part of the Healing Autism Program which provides Guide Dogs for children with Autism.
Thank you Alyssa, for all your hard work, positive energy, and for making a difference in someones life.
