On Friday, February 7, 2014 the Peekskill High School Red Devils faced off against local rival Putnam Valley High School. This was the last game of their regular season and the final home game of legendary basketball coach, Lou Panzanaro. Being the final home game of the season, the Red Devils honored their Senior players who will be graduating at the end of this year. In honor of Coach Panzanaro’s 30 plus years of coaching, having over 578 wins and brining numerous championships and State Championships to Peekskill, Peekskill Mayor Frank Catalina proclaimed that February 7, 2014 was Lou Panzanaro day in the City of Peekskill.
