The event will be held at the Peekskill Riverfront Green at 1:00 p.m. on January 1, 2014 and is open to the public to spectate, and encourage the brave plungers. Plunge participants are still being accepted. If interested, please emai This Is Me Foundation co-founder, Lauren Brady at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The This Is Me Foundation was created to raise awareness about alopecia, an auto-immune disease that causes hair loss, while giving hope to any individual who faces adversity. All proceeds go directly to the This Is Me Scholarship Fund, Inspired by Ryan Risco & Cait Chivonne Polhill. The fund provided two scholarships to local students in 2012, and four scholarships locally and two nationally in 2013.
