Local Author's Book Signing A Huge Success

Peekskill, NY - Saturday, June 29, 2013 -  The Field Library's Upper Gallery was the setting to launch new local author Deb Carlin Polhill's first book "Love Honor Celebrate: A Mother’s Journey of Transition."  Library Executive Director Sybil Canaan welcomed people as she introduced the book to the library's collection.
Folks began pouring in at 12:00 noon sharp and the flow continued past 2:00 pm. The book reading that was planned never came to fruition due to the size of the crowd and demand for autographed copies. The new author was delighted as she sat and signed each newly purchased first edition copy of her work, "Love Honor Celebrate: A Mother’s Journey of Transition." 
Deb's book is one mother's story and account of the most profound loss of her life and how she chose to handle it. It is a story of remarkable faith and tremendous inspiration. Deb's story reveals how the human spirit, via an open heart, can face a seemingly insurmountable devastation, yet continue to live, love, and grow. "Love Honor Celebrate: A Mother’s Journey of Transition" shares the beauty in the sorrow, eloquently and reverently.
