"Grounded" Art Show

Husband and wife artists, Douglas and Jessica Nash will host an opening reception of their joint art show, Grounded, at the Peekskill Coffee House, 101 South Division Street, Peekskill, NY from 4pm - 6pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013.  The couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, says they are “married to art and each other.” Jessica paints, while Douglas prefers photography, and in this exhibit, the couple explores divergent views of nature and perception in their show.  The show’s title, Grounded, came from the couple’s mutual interest in layering and the surreal scenes the layers create.  The work also can be viewed during normal business hours: Monday – Thursday: 6am – 9pm; Friday – Saturday, 6am- 11pm; and Sunday: 7am - 6pm through September 28, 2013.
