Family Relocating From Pennsylvania Enjoys Upgraded Lifestyle At Highpointe At Woodbury Junction

New Home With Custom Finishes Perfect Fit for Active Family of Four

MONROE-WOODBURY, N.Y. – – Mike and Susan Ciriello weren’t even in the market for a home when they first heard of Highpointe at Woodbury Junction. They were happy with their house in Milford, Pa, but when they saw an ad for the upscale community in Central Valley, NY, with pictures of the beautiful single-family homes and award-winning interior spaces, they decided to at least go visit.

They fell in love with the community and signed a contract that allowed them to move in as soon as they sold their house in Pennsylvania. The Ciriellos moved to Highpointe at Woodbury Junction in June and began living a lifestyle that includes custom interior finishes and breathtaking mountain views. They made friends with their neighbors during community block parties, and their children, 10-year-old Kaitlyn and six-year-old Jacob, spent three weeks at a local summer camp. With Kaitlyn and Jacob excited to attend their new schools and a recently-installed in-ground pool now open in their yard, life is good for the Ciriellos.
“We absolutely love our new home,” said Mr. Ciriello. “The neighborhood is fantastic. We have met so many nice people already. The builder has also been fantastic. You can tell their reputation is important to them because they have taken a personal interest in making sure we are happy with our home, which is refreshing. They stand behind their product and that’s not something you always see.”

The Ciriellos purchased a “Durham” home, a design with four bedrooms and 2,928 square feet of living space, including a bonus room on the second floor. The open floor plan on the first floor is ideal for entertaining and also provides plenty of room for their children and two dogs to spread out during family downtime.

The Ciriellos had a number of custom finishes and design features installed to truly make their house feel like a home. They now enjoy a custom kitchen island with wine fridge, upgraded lighting, upgraded flooring, a restaurant-quality gas range and an expanded dining room space.

“We decided that if we were going to move, we may as well look for a new home where we could pick everything from scratch and have it built the way we want,” Mr. Ciriello said. “We really like the flow and design of this house. It’s well thought out. You can see why they won an award for it because it works very well for active families.”

Mr. Ciriello, who is President and CEO of Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union, now has a much-improved 20-minute commute to his office in Middletown. He also likes the location because of its proximity to schools, stores, restaurants, parks and outdoor recreation.

“You are never more than five minutes away from anything you need,” Mr. Ciriello said. “Five minutes in one direction you have stores and five minutes in the other direction you have hiking, forests and lakes. And of course, the middle school and high school are right down the road. So there’s a really nice mix of things that are in close proximity to the community.”

Built by award-winning developer Hornrock Properties, Highpointe at Woodbury Junction offers three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with 2,040 to 3,277 square feet of living space and prices starting from $429,900.
The spacious designs feature an open layout on the first floor, with one model offering a first-floor master-bedroom suite.  Many high-end features that are upgrades in other communities are standard in the homes at Highpointe at Woodbury Junction. Upgrades for features such as custom faucets, lighting, bonus rooms, flooring and three-car garages are also available. Homes are available in four different designs and with three distinct architectural styles: Traditional, Farmhouse and Arts & Crafts.

Situated on the top of a ridge in the well-established Woodbury Junction community, Highpointe at Woodbury Junction allows buyers to experience everything that makes life in the Hudson Valley so special. Award-winning schools are within walking distance and highways and public transportation options are just minutes away. World-class shopping at Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets is also less than a five-minute drive away.

The town of Woodbury’s “Woodbury Rec” program provides swimming, boating, day camps, fishing, sports fields, roller hockey and other programs for children of all ages. Highpointe residents will also enjoy such future resort-inspired amenities as a swimming pool and clubhouse.
