It is that time of year again when Stella, The Peekskill Trolley, will be decked out for the holidays and taking folks on tours through Peekskill to see the beautifully decorated store fronts and homes. And this year, in addition to the Holiday Light Tours, there will be two Polar Express Adventures designed to delight the young ones. Once folks step aboard the trolley for either tour, they will be transported to a magical place only found this time of year.
The two Polar Express Adventures are Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 23 departing at 6:30pm. Polar Express Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for Children. The Holiday Light tours are: Friday, December 14, Thursdays, December 20 & 27, and Sundays, December 16 and 30. Thursday and Friday light tours begin at 7pm (boarding starts at 6:45), and the Sunday tours begin at 6:30pm. Light Tour Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $6 for children 12 and under.

All tours board in front of the Bean Runner Café, 210 S. Division Street, or the Gazebo at the intersection of Division Street and Park Street. Folks will be informed of the boarding location when they make their reservations. All tours conclude with Hot Chocolate (or Egg Nog) at the Bean Runner Café.

Folks interested in making their house a stop on the Holiday Light Tour must call (914) 739-5408 prior to December 13. Houses on dead end streets, narrow streets or other areas where Stella cannot maneuver easily will, unfortunately, not be able to be included in the tours.
At the start of the first Holiday Light Tour on Friday, December 14, the trolley will stop at the house of last year’s winner of the “Best Dressed House” award, and the decorator will receive the First Place Trophy.
