The Volunteer Center of United Way joined over 120 supporters on June 28th for the 2012 Leadership Westchester Graduation at the Gateway Center at Westchester Community College in Valhalla. Cortlandt Manor resident Andrea Bloome, principal at Alchemy Post Sound, was among the graduates. Leadership Westchester is a cutting-edge learning curriculum that prepares passionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled individuals to assume positions of influence and impact, particularly as board members at nonprofit organizations in the region. Graduates from the 17 years strong program include leaders from business, public and nonprofit sectors who become part of the Leadership Westchester Alumni Association. Albert D. (Doug) Rogers of New York Life received the Alumnus of the Year Award. For more information call The Volunteer Center at 914-948-4452 or visit www.volunteer-center.org/leadership
