PEEKSKILL, NY –This Saturday, October 13th, Hudson Hop & Harvest festival presented by the Peekskill Brewery & Hudson Valley Marketing Group, celebrates the sustainable treasures of the Hudson Valley.
Hudson Hop & Harvest happens at the front door of Peekskill Brewery’s new four story home on South Water Street in Peekskill, featuring local Farm to Table cuisine from the Hudson Valley’s bountiful farms and restaurants; craft beer, and live music brought to you by 107.1 The Peak and 100.7 WHUD.
Participating restaurants will be paired with a Hudson Valley farm showcasing their delectable cuisine using fresh and local ingredients from the farm. These dishes will be offered alongside a variety of craft beer including the festival’s signature beer, brewed exclusively for this event by the Peekskill Brewery.
Over 2,500 people are anticipated to enjoy these bounties of the Hudson Valley with 107.1 The Peak, World Class Rock for New York’s Backyard, and the OFFICIAL station of the Hudson Valley. 100.7 WHUD, celebrating 40 years.
Admission is free. All food and beverage purchases will be managed by tickets. Everything will be pay as you go and offered a la carte and the music is FREE! Here is a little more about the event…
FOOD: Highlighting Farm to Table Food. Hudson Valley restaurants will be paired up with a Hudson Valley farm that they actually purchase ingredients from, bringing the consumer’s meals full circle. Participating restaurants are located on our website
BEER: The Hudson Valley is home to nationally known microbreweries using Hudson Valley barley, grain and hops. Peekskill Brewery has created their own Harvest beer specifically for the event. Peekskill Captain Lawrence, Greenport Brewery and other NYS Microbrewers
MUSIC: Is the main attraction. Evan Watson, The Lone Bellow, Martin Harley, Elle King, and Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers!
