Hurricane Sandy has left thousands and thousands of families homeless or displaced which is terrible, but even more heartbreaking during this holiday season.
The coaches and staff of Gymnastics City, located on 2121 Crompond Rd. in Cortlandt Manor, thought that this year in lieu of buying gifts for the teams and having grab bags, they can take what they would have given to each other and donate toys their Gym City Toy Drive for Hurricane Sandy Victims.
That way, they all give the "Gift of Giving" this holiday season.
They are also collecting unwrapped new toys for the children affected by Hurrican Sandy. A Boy Scout troupe will separate and wrap the toys and Monique Savastano and friends will distribute them to Breezy Point, Rockaways, Marine Park Brooklyn, Massapequa, Long Island, etc.
You can drop off your New Toys or cash for New Toys at Gym City.
