From Brian Marello from Lakeland High School: I'm coordinating a blood drive at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School on Route 132 in Shrub Oak next Tuesday, May 10th from 3:30 - 9 p.m.. I think it's important to give blood because it does save lives. Spring is a very important time to give because statistics show there are more car accidents and more emergencies when blood is needed.
We all know someone who needed blood at some point in their lives. In their honor or memory, please help by saving another's life! Give a pint today and save a life tomorrow.
