Local Teaching Artist/Choreographer Andrea Elam invites local kids aged 9+ to participate in a unique multimedia arts project. Participants will sign up for a one-hour dance workshop, at the end of which they will do an in-studio performance of an original piece of choreography, which will be videotaped. On July 8th at 3:00pm at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, the dance videos will be shown in conjunction wtih a love dance performance, to live music by accomplished jazz musician Ray Blue. The dance workshops are being held on Fridays at 4:45 and Saturdays at 2:30, at Energy Movement Studios, 925 South Street, Peekskill.
