An exhibit of oil paintings by Sharon Kullberg conceived and created over the last 20 years, including some of her recent work. From the artist:

Why Paint?

Poetry is the search for meaning using language. My mission is perhaps a humbler one. In painting I am searching less for understanding, more for an appreciation of the world through color, brushstroke, pigment, shape, line, shadow and light.

When painting, the moment is arrested. The mind is not endlessly stressing. Rather it is focused on the here & now, fully engaged. That is why I paint.

Reception

Everyone is invited. Meet the artist. Saturday, January 21, 2:00 - 4:00.
